Her Carry’s Values

There’s a lot of things to consider when looking at a company. What do they sell? How are their reviews? How do their prices compare? Those are all important, but something else I value in any small business I support is: What are their values? If I’m spending my hard-earned money on a small business, I want to know that I can be proud to support them and their values. I know I’m not alone in this, and if you are looking for concealed carry clothing for ladies, you probably want to know what the businesses from which you purchase stand for.

So, I’m proud to introduce the four core Her Carry values:

  • Integrity: In my job as a law enforcement agent, as in Her Carry, integrity is the linchpin of doing work that makes me proud. The moments when it is hardest to act with integrity are exactly when it matters most. Her Carry will operate in a way that reflects honesty, responsibility, and pride. My goal is for every customer to feel confident standing behind our name and our products.

  • Transparency: Her Carry is built around the needs and the desires of our community (which is why community is one of our core values, too!). Because of that, it only makes sense to be open and honest about where we are, what’s coming next, and how major decisions are made. Future women’s concealed carry apparel lines, partnerships, events… if you have questions about anything I haven’t publicly shared yet, please reach out. If I have an answer, I’ll tell you. If I don’t, I’ll tell you that, too.

  • Inclusivity: Clothes are meant to fit your body; your body is not meant to fit into clothes. I want Her Carry to be a place where everyone fits in, literally and figuratively.

**An important note: It is not financially or logistically possible for a brand to launch a brand with EVERY size on day one. That said, I am fully committed to expanding each line to fit virtually every body. If your size isn’t available right away, feel free to reach out and ask about future plans. Please know that inclusivity is a priority, and I am working to broaden our size range as quickly and responsibly as possible.

  • Community: Again, Her Carry is here to reflect what YOU need and desire. I am building this brand right alongside the women who will wear these products, and your perspective is critical to my designs and future plans. When I ask for input on social media, I genuinely mean it. I want to ensure the items I create actually serve this community. If that mean pivoting from one idea to another, that’s okay. For example, I originally had zero plans to make leggings for concealed carry. After hearing from so many women who wanted them, leggings have become one of my three flagship designs. They will be available at launch or shortly after.

Community also includes hearing from and sharing stories from strong women as part of our Her Carry Spotlight series. I recently had the opportunity to interview Kori for our first Spotlight article. You can check out that interview here: https://www.hercarryapparel.com/blog/her-carry-spotlight-kori

This is a community-oriented business, and you are the community. Thanks for being here!
